After stepping away from the computer for most of the week, to enjoy a memorable Christmas in New York City with my family, it was a pleasure to take some time today to reflect back on the year. Restricting myself to one photo a month was not easy, so I cannot say these are my “best” photos of the year, but they do provide a photographic snapshot of life in 2012!

I loved looking at your photos and can see why it was hard to pick just 12 of them! I love living in the Midwest (and grew up there too), but am glad for the milder winters of Virginia.

Nancy, there are many long days of winter (especially once they stretch into March!) that some milder weather would be welcomed, but there is also that special allure of the distinct seasons! Thanks for commenting ~ Kat

Full of hope and inspiration. Thank you.
