Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 in Pictures

After stepping away from the computer for most of the week, to enjoy a memorable Christmas in New York City with my family, it was a pleasure to take some time today to reflect back on the year.  Restricting myself to one photo a month was not easy, so I cannot say these are my “best” photos of the year, but they do provide a photographic snapshot of life in 2012!

“Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has many — not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.”   ~ Charles Dickens

I look forward to catching up on everyone’s blogs and comments.  Wishing you a happy and healthy 2013!

Ciao! ~ Kat

  1. I loved looking at your photos and can see why it was hard to pick just 12 of them! I love living in the Midwest (and grew up there too), but am glad for the milder winters of Virginia.

    • Nancy, there are many long days of winter (especially once they stretch into March!) that some milder weather would be welcomed, but there is also that special allure of the distinct seasons! Thanks for commenting ~ Kat

  2. What cool pictures, Kat! I would have trouble choosing a favorite. Smiling thinking about your time in NYC and wishing you a full recovery from that little “bug” you brought home.

  4. Full of hope and inspiration. Thank you. The world needed to be inspired and feel that blessings to come in the most amazing way. ““Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has many — not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.” I have my share of heartaches for 2012 but I hope to celebrate the ones that help me overcome them. Happy New Year!
