It never fails. Weekday or weekend, whenever I sit down at my computer desk, whether it be for office work or household bills, one of my furry companions immediately makes himself comfortable on top of the modem and router.
Who needs a firewall when you have fur?!

I think that cats can sense when you approach the computer. Even when I try to sneak up to work on my blog, my cat, Kush, is on the desk, on my computer and then draped across my arms. Tough typing position!

I have one who sasses me every time I try to move after he settles in across my arms! They fulfill the stereotypical cat persona!

I have a cat who looks like this one; he is one of 4. We just found out he has diabetes, so we’ve been going through the one-touch testing and insulin shots twice a day. 😦 He seems to be feeling better!

Years ago, we had an elderly cat who was diagnosed with diabetes and he patiently welcomed the twice a day insulin shots that added to his quality of life his last year or so. I think he realized they made him feel better! Glad yours is responding well so far.

This is great! My cat and my sister’s cat both sit on our computer bags or keyboards or whatever they can in order to get our attention. Must be a cat thing.
