Oh, what a welcome theme this is, as Northern Minnesota is blanketed with snow yet again today, and the colors outside continue to be multi-layered grays, dull browns, and white. Yellow is such a cheerful color, a challenge to the extended winter doldrums — yellow is the color of sunflowers and bumblebees, golden leaves and sunshine, and the warm golden glow of a summer campfire. Mother Nature apparently has not yet received the news that Spring was supposed to have sprung last month!

Oh the color in your post! It is so beautiful. So utterly utterly beautiful and it would be wonderful if it would come this way. (Another snowstorm today…)

Duluth saw another record-breaking snowfall Thursday-Friday although I am hopeful the ground will show itself with above-freezing temps this week. The beauty of the snow is hard to continue to appreciate at this point.

fun photos!! yes, spring is late this year isn’t it? down here in the twin cities our big piles of snow are mostly gone!! weird not to have to crane my neck to ensure no cars are coming before turning off my street. hopefully it will be warmer up north for you soon!!

What was amazing is so much of our “peeking over snowbanks” weather was just this past month! Usually expect it to fall and melt!

I have to admit if I have too hot and humid of weather I will be whining even more loudly! 70 degrees F (about 21 degrees C) would be perfect for me all summer long!

Not really spring here yet either – it will go from really cold to really hot in the space of three days when it finally does arrive…. Love your sunny pix!
