Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

You will have to use your imagination to create a street life scene while exploring the ruins of the Roman port of Ostia, which was abandoned after the fall of Rome.

    • Ostia Antica was such a quiet alternative to what we had heard about Pompeii — you really had the opportunity to sit and try and imagine what life was like surrounded by the peaceful ruins. Thank you!

  5. It’s fantastic, isn’t it? We close our eyes and see life swirling around us, as if we’re in the thick of it … won’t be long before they’ll be peopling ancient cities with moving 3D images, don’t you think?
