With Christmas just a few days away, this week’s photo challenge deserved a second post — a holiday version!
This one lurking under the tree is deciding which ornament to remove next. He is such a naughty fellow — did he forget that Santa is still watching? If he is not busy trying to remove ornaments, he instead is leading our 100-pound black lab to chase him under the tree, which results in a flurry of pine needles, and tree skirt and presents askew. Amazingly, the tree is still standing, while we continue moving the ornaments further upward out of reach. Ah, life would be so dull without the antics of our furry friends.
Ciao! ~ Kat
This post was in response to the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge. ”One” was this week’s theme. Everyone is welcome to join in the Challenge; further details on how to participate and links to others’ responses are found here.

Fantastic capture, Kat. Having shared my home with cats and a number of Christmas treea, I’m all too familiar with that look in their eyes. I never knew whether they were just gazing at the twinkling lights or contemplating an assault on the angel on top of the tree. 🙂

This is a great interpretation of the One challenge. Love the look on this kitty’s face. How precious!

Precious and incredibly naughty (he is our cat who thinks he is a dog … running to the door when the doorbell rings with our two large black labs).

Cute shot. You can’t get much more framed than that. 🙂

The house would be so empty without them.

Sooooo innocent! Lovely capture Kat – made me laugh – and even more after I’d read about the dog-teasing (though I’m sorry about the mayhem that ensues!). Happy Christmas! 🙂

if you want to deter your cat from your tree put used coffee grounds in a bowl under the tree and pine cones–it is working for me!

Then what would I have to photograph, Louann? Ha!

BTW I love your image, I have two cats of my own and when we had the big tree, Tiger my Kellas he would claim the back of it as his home and he would love to nap in the shade.

The problem is that you cannot remove a post in the community which I believe that you should be able to because if an error has been made you should be able to remove it. 🙂 All you can do is click reply to your own message and put in the correction. I hope that helps 🙂
