Turn Out Your Lights at 8:30 p.m. ~ Celebrate Earth Hour!

One of our cats is ready to illuminate the night with only candlelight – are you?

Saturday, March 23rd at 8:30 p.m. wherever you are, anywhere in the world, turn off your lights for an hour to show support and solidarity for environmental sustainability and concern for the natural world in which we live.  Such a small gesture with a big message.  Even if the only change for some is raising awareness, it is an important first step.

More information about Earth Hour and worldwide activities taking place to promote it can be found on Earth Hour’s website.

Ciao! ~ Kat

      1. Oh Kat. I’m finally getting better! I lost 8 pounds this winter and I’m already pretty fit. It has been so rough. I’m hoping next year is better. It is the first time both my kids are in school and there are 800 at our elementary meaning loads of germs! Thank fully tomorrow we leave for Montana for Spring Break! I can hardly wait to get out of here! I hope to come back and have grass showing, right! 🙂

  1. Thanks for sharing this, Kat. Didn’t know about it–so it looks like I missed it. Maybe will do it THIS Saturday instead. (Or maybe just will go to bed at 8:30…)
