Weekly Photo Challenge: Saturated

Just one of the many photos I took yesterday while hiking and taking in the spectacular hues of the northern Minnesota landscape.  This solitary maple leaf, gently cradled in a bed of spiky groundcover, seemed to bleed red from its veins, so saturated it was with the changing colors of the season.

  1. Now that’s a leaf going out in style, Kat. Mid Michigan is starting to see the first of the leaves changing color – and I think this is my favorite time of year. Hope all is well in MN!

  3. You’ve got to love those red leaves at this time of year! I would have never thought of “saturated” describing them, but will from now on.
