The cats of Old San Juan invoke warm feelings — gratitude toward their caretakers and the amazing Save a Gato organization, and delight with the welcoming love of these felines. Warmth is not only a reference to temperature, but as defined by Merriam Webster’s dictionary, also refers to “the quality or state of being kind or friendly.” It is this latter reference that came to mind when responding to this week’s Photo Challenge.
This post was in response to the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge. ”Warmth” was this week’s theme. Everyone is welcome to join in the Challenge; further details on how to participate and links to others’ responses are found here.

So good to hear from you, Tina! I STILL need to finish going through my Charleston photos! Life gets in the way 🙂 — great to have the oldest home for the holiday break, and some down time as a family, though. Hope your Christmas was lovely and New Year happy!
