Oh no! Lamb fries and testicles! Running in the opposite direction… 🙂

Arrrrgh!!!! This actually made me stop, shudder and re-read the sign three times! Why is it necessary to eat a whole box of those things?!?!! Holy land spices indeed. Holy crap. Balls.

Reportedly, they were quite tasty — we passed on trying them though (need to prioritize Fair food when you can’t eat it all!)

I would have passed also, ick!!

Oh my! I don’t think I’d want to try those! This was a great take on the challenge though!

Oh…sorry I am going to have to miss that tasty treat this year. I wonder if I can find Holy Land ranch sauce at the little market here in Maine. 🙂

I am sure the sauce would be a nice accompaniment to a little Pinot Noir and cheese? 🙂

I pride myself for having an adventurous palate but these may be a taste too far. Then again, they are deep fried. Hmmm … 🙂

So funny – when I first saw the cropped pic on my phone I thought yum! Onion bhaji! but now I’m not so sure… Holy Land spices or not…

We love fair food! This year I will be careful to read the fine print. 😉

You need the rest of the year to detox from the one day of Fair food! Actually given our caloric intake on Fair day, we could probably fast the rest of the year.

Everyone eats everything at the MN State Fair! They were a popular item, as they were one of the featured “new foods” publicized before the Fair opened last summer.

With holy land spice marinade to boot…..that must taste exalted 😆

Perhaps we’ll try it this year? We have to pace ourselves and can’t try everything, and the cheese curds cannot be displaced! 🙂

The lamb version of Rocky Mountain oysters, the same parts but of bulls. 🙂 They can actually be quite tasty.

exactly! I have to admit, we did not try last summer — have to pace yourself for the day and can only eat so many fried items before the body says “enough” (that’s why a milk shake at the Dairy Barn is essential to balance things out :-))
